| The size of the graphic files required to put the plans on this site required that I break up the camera construction into it's major components. I'll create the wooden camera components in their own section and then I'll tell you how to make and where to place all of the knobs, brass and other finish work required. A large format wooden camera can be broken down into the following components: Spring Back and Ground Glass Frames Sliders, Mounting Block and Rail Each sub-system to the camera has it's own page to keep down the downloading times due to the size of the plans. I wanted them large enough to be able to use straight off the site but you can download the Power Point file with the plans to date. Click on the pictures below for a larger view. |
